LineWalker Concept

Talked to Ian Cavalier About the wild concept of just picking one video game to work through completely before the end of the year (as opposed to my usual life-mode of inventing new shit to do every few minutes).

I decided it would be nice to crank out the three BloodSugar 2016 games I came up with, way back when. (so that I could put the whole property to bed by the end of the year). Ah, in related news: I plan to have a printed book of the FINISHED bloodsugar 2016 strips. by the end of the year. Probably printed through Lulu.com. exciting.

Anywho.
This is a quick drawing of the first game concept “Line Walker”. Basically, you’re one of the two dudes who is walking through the white wasteland. (either the guy with the rat, or the guy with the watch). The screen automatically pans right at a steady rate. Tapping on the screen makes your character jump. And you will always land on the next line (if more than one is visible). Screen (or iPhone) will shake if you’re entering an invisible radiation pocket. Maybe even have sections where the rain washes out the line, and you have to draw a connection. (maybe).

I plan to have a flash concept of at least one level of the game setup (i.e. freely available, somewhere on the website) by the end of October. DEADLINES! WOOT!
