If you missed any of it, or just want to start from the beginning.
HERE IS WHERE IT STARTED
if any part still isn’t clear… post a question!
the idea in this particular final strip is: the doctor was expelled, rather just killing him. He’s not quite dead yet. In my mind, he’s meant to be a scary crippled monster stumbling through the wasteland. something you wouldn’t want to run into.
In theory, I think of this as a count zero reset. who knows where they’ll all be in another 2016 strips. In book format, this would be alone on it’s own page. with maybe another strip below it almost completely obscured with white, to suggest the timer is counting down again.
Now I plan to move on to some other shit. this web strip web page may go quiet for a month or more. Next project: I’ll be drawing a 10 page EC comics style adaptation of friend Jonason’s Tycoons script. Then maybe vidHero 2. one or both will involve pencils on actual comic art board, instead of this wacom cintiq shit. Still not convinced I ever got this damned pen calibrated right. never changes width reliably. nuts.
uhhh. blah. anywho. Plan to revisit this project in a bit and polish it up for a book printing. not as excited about this process as I’d initially planned to be (i’d planned to go to print, without any need for polish. because every strip would be the best possible art I could conjure up. oops.).
since I didn’t seem to accumulate any interested followers over the past year. just some supportive friends. i doubt it’ll be a mad rush to turn this into a sellable book. (as i’ll have to put each group of three strips onto a page. make sure all art is finished. check for inconsistencies. print them all and review with some friends. revise. etc. bleh.)
probably not this month.
Also have some ideas for Bloodsugar 2016 tshirts and iPad games that may or may not be pursued. maybe this “brand” will just die off as other things supplant it with their MUCH HIGHER QUALITY.
sorry it wasn’t better? i guess? nuts.
… I’d guess the next thing likely to appear here will be some form of “commentary” on the first vidHero comic. that is, i’d post pages (or frames from pages) and babble about what I was trying to do. more of a post mortem. So you can read that comic for free, instead of buying it for 2 bucks! and hopefully get myself back in the mindset for issue 2. (which is scripted and roughed. but will likely be revised/improved a bit based on recent lessons learned).
wee. soo. Feel like i’m sitting here alone on a busy world street, talking to myself. eek. ugh. wee!
