this was meant to be the final number, except for that pesky misnumbering.
i feel i’ve mentioned this misnumbering several times already. but i can’t let it go. so annoying.
uh.
anywho. there is one more strip to go, and then the story’s told.
if you think it unnecessary, please do comment. i wish i’d gotten more feedbacks on this project. sob sob.
oh, and uh, the idea here in today’s strip is: the third cockroach human that the doctor initially kidnapped and eviscerated was their sister slash queen. the mother of a thousand brood. this is why there were compelled to escape the doctor, find weapons and return to kill him.
and with the doctor taken care of, they can now return and watch their children grow.
in theory these are the true inheritors of the earth.
maybe i should have old society things littered around to imply that they are in fact learned and aware of history. hmm. hmm. well. hmm. i dunno.
maybe i should have fetuses visible in some of the eggs. or in the foreground at the end ? hmm.
