I’m starting to get excited about the ending. only 21 strips left? MY GOODNESS!
well, the idea here was that the stands answer his selfish stupid cry for help by spitting his science back in his face. I hear it being shrieked out by a bitch, before anyone could come up with a better insult.
He responds by fighting dirty. sand in the face, kick in the balls.I really like the original tiny doodle for the final frame. :( couldn’t quite recapture it. really feels liek they just finished dancing in the air. although his leg is too long. blah blah.
I ended up scaling up the second and final frames notably. in size. like I drew them both very small at the bottom fo the frame, for some reason. then tried to fix.
and originally I’d doodled the first frame flipped. as if the woman/crowd was pointed off at the end of the page. kinda weird. dunno why. maybe it was a genius arty move? i dunno.
looking at all these frames laid out on page (this strip is the final in its set of three), i see that I missed a chance to have more frame overlapping vertically. Could have put the final frame of the previous strip into it’s first frame. and it would have lined up better with the first frame of this strip. maybe seem more like a direct connection.
well. whatever.
