Lotta debate here, in my head, over whether the gun should make a noise. should it be cocked (again?)? should it click (outta bullets?)?
Ultimately figured it was too soon for sound effects (from the gun). better to have the cockroach dude just hiss. to me, this strip just drips with hate.

uh. heh. not sure what to say. feel like I should go back and work on older strips, while my head is clear. but. nawwww. it’s time for video games! weeooo!
p.s. maybe I should mention that I like the idea of contrasting the doctors “thought box captions” with the bugs “box framing”. i’m not sure how to better bring it across. like, one thinks in boxes – the other lives there. hmmf.
anywho, this is part of the final disintegration of barriers between the various comic strip styles. Wasn’t planning on any more “box frames” after tomorrow’s strip. … blah blah.
