right back to my old lazy habits of forgetting to draw strips until almost midnight. argh.
(took the last week off basically, by doing almost 7 strips in a night, then staying up in Portland).
rushed this one too. art is really rough. … although i don’t think it’d make sense to show the same orange fade as we’ve seen across this story before, when they were outside. it would probably be smart to have some form of gray. to help things pop out from the background at least. woof.

the idea here is to show that the cockroach dudes are definitely in the same base as the mad scientist.
sooo, that means showing them encountering animal-men, and now: some mysterious giant tubes full of animal men. weee.
which they break.
in my mind they do this because they hate all captivity. but. i guess it’s kind of mean to their fellow animal men. ditto killing all animal-men guards. hmm.
hopefully it’s ok that they do this. hmm.
