and so it came to pass.
the watch dude reeled in the radioactive gun.
and cocked it.
while the one armed dude spotted a camera.
and smashed it.
weee!
- thought I could get away with the center frame being a break from the locked-off static shot. since it’ll be framed by the other panels on the page. originally, the last panel was the ka-click. the middle panel was oen arm destroying the camera while we saw the watch going crazy. ohhh the subtleties of pacing and layout. weee.
- i think it better to cram some onomatopoeia here in a climax moment, rather than sprinkling it through every strip the 2 dudes are in. still not sure it’s a good idea. not sure I’m doing it right.
- I’m not sure whether I’ve mentioned this concretely before: this was the original plotline for the 2 dudes.
they’d be walking “to the right” and encountering problems with radiation and environmental hazards – until they found a gun. then we’d see them walk “back to the left.” I just really dug he idea that these two dudes never spoke, but we learn that they’ve been on a mission to simple find a weapon.
and they found a bad ass old gun (automatic?) that shoots radioactive bullets.
this summary makes me all excited. wish the telling had been more exciting
- there’s one more little detail that was in the original plan, which will be revealed: tomorrow.
blah blah. weee.
weekend!
