the idea here is that the shadow continues to cover them. I strive for terror, lightly, by not showing you what casts this shadow (yet). instead, i show our heroes staring.
then the rat makes a noise.
hard to draw noise. not sure it worked.
but.
were you able to suss it out?
is the rat thing okay??!?!?!?! why did they seem to be clutching at the cage in the first frame? almost like the rat thing is really important to them?
