Just beat Mass Effect (the first one). much rejoicing.
… not sure what else to say here. Not much else happened today. Didn’t do much but watch movies and play video games. (watched appaloosa and killshot). Cooked a rib steak for breakfast. had some cocoa pebbles. a spicy chicken sammich from wendy’s.

heavens.

well, it’s late. that may also be the reason I can’t think of anything interesting to ramble on about here.

On-the-Nose:

The original idea here was to make you think there was one guy, and he was horribly mangled under the white earth. but over the three frames, you’d see two guys emerge. almost like a joke! but. bleh. instead, I … well it didn’t really happen that way. it is pretty clear there are two dudes.
Hopefully it is still interesting due to the weirdness of their movements. … maybe I should have had the same body part… or. no. maybe I should have had one hand PLUS LEG in the foreground, so that you’d wonder about the second leg being so far away.
eh.
ok, maybe there was an art fail here. but. i still like it.
hmm.

-Oop, looks like I failed to apply the proper filter to the city sky line. ehhh. Not sure if I should modify this strip, or the last one. hmm. I’ll sleep on it. (I’m kind of tired of filters).

- if you’re at all curious about what this artwork looks like before filters, you can see unfiltered line art for this strip: right here.

I thought the first one was one guy, but thought “man, he’s got a loooong body!” but by the second frame I knew it was a second guy..
