(would it be cheating to say what happens next? let’s see… Next: we’ll be going back out front to check back in with the family parental types. hmm. Just typing it makes me feel lightly tired. not sure if i’m just tired. or if this family storyline is a little tired. … I’m excited to see the action that will come after this family chunk of story. from a different storyline. hmm.)
(i think i’m mostly just tired of rewriting all these “family” scenes, endlessly. definitely proving much more worrysome than the other two storylines. fret fret fret).
The intent here:
Ehhhh. The idea here is to go for maximum cheery lightheartedness. He’s made her happy to be around him, so she gives him a big hug. He is happy and gives her a big hug back. but then, with his cheek pressed into her shoulder, he says something slightly creepy. Is he implying that he can see in the dark?
Did she think he was joking about her baby maybe being a little monstrous? If so, he’s probably going a little bit too far, and showing that he really kind of HOPES it is monstrous.
Either way though, I hope this comic conveys that it’s ok with her if her baby ends up a little weird, like Timmy.
