rar.
so here we see that piece trash come into play again (attempting to make it more than a one time use setup/payoff, i guess. There really is a reason they pick up trash.). The idea is that now they’re using it to dig into the hard substance of the wasteland. So they can set tent poles. so they can lift a tiny tarm and get under.
the original idea was theat their watch would warn of invisible radiation pockets, so they could steer around them. And the rain would just be filled with it, so they’d want to stay out of it. Somehow this was mixed and muddled in my eagerness to inject action into their story. (of running and jumping? ehhh. ).fail?
Hmm. I will meditate on how this could have been handled better. You should turn off your computer and go do something fun. Like reading a history book. on computers.
…
the idea artistically was that the first frame would be a shock. Someone’s stabbing! the second frame would setup the scenario, with one armed dude holding up the tarp, while the watch dude works.
I had to flip the first frame completely, because it appears to be his right hand. Had to flip the middle frame, then flip the one redraw the one armed dude. Then I went ahead and added the watch into the final frame (had been nothing there. sigh).
It’s weird how the details got away from me. I think because I was tackling each strip on a separate night last year. Now I tend to tackle them in chunks of three or more. eh. anywho. rant.
… I probably should have shown those poles lying around in the previous strip. Thus the audience could fill in that they didn’t stop because they were safe. They stopped to setup the trash as a tent. would be much better… note to self…
