VIDHERO WEB STRIPS

Sooo, we see some big ominous clouds rolling in.

I originally drew this to try and slow down. I was making it up as I went along. I knew where I wanted them to end up, but was getting tired of drawing them running. To me, this is meant to be the mise en scene moment, where the environment is representing the mood of what’s going on.

Eh. but maybe it’s just a shitty cop out to show basically one wide shot of clouds. I went back and added some black outlines and white rain whisps to class it up (added to last years initial artwork).
but.
I dunno. maybe i should show some form of fucked up bird things in the clouds. Not a bad idea. though it might make people think this was taking place on mars, if i get too weird. oh hell, fuck it. i don’t want to draw anymore. the fucking clouds look great! deal with it! pacing schmacing! it’s like a cut-away shot!

in other news. As I worked forward to prepare a few days worth of comics (we’re nearing the end of “revamps” and will soon be only showing brand new artwork until the story is complete. kind of scary!), I realized some recent art was wrong. The watch dude wears it on his left hand. always. the crate dude is now carrying it in his left hand. fuck. I was randomly switching these between strips (and even some panels). Also, the watch glows pink for danger and yellow for acceptable. so i went back and fixed some recent strips and some ones no one has seen yet. wee.
