okkkk, what to say here. Well. this is the third storyline.
Last year I kinda just copped out and showed this fellow reading into a mic, and kind of omnisciently narrating. (Rather than tell his story, I was trying to tell the audience what was going on. but it was kind of a big failure in “being too tricky.” No doubt everyone thought he was just babbling nonsense. etc.) anywho. I’d planned to draw this storyline like detailed painting. but I was just too lazy.
And still too lazy for that. Soooo, this time around, I figured I’d shoot for the style of early conan comics, which made a big impression on me. Crazy dense fantasy, lots of flowing lines and wide variety of “shots.” I can’t seem to find these conan comics I’m remember, so i’m just kind of spitballing. Hope you enjoy.
