And now we join a different story, and numbers change mysteriously(?).

Last year this trip ended with the woman looking more aghast, as the man asked where the children were. Some commented that they figured clearly she had cooked them and was serving them as dinner. NOT WHAT I WAS TRYING TO SAY! ahhh!HHH!HH!H!H!HH!!!

So I tweaked it to be a little more banal. Drew here to look a little frazzled/crazy in the final frame. cleaned up the art a bit, and dropped the color. I do want to color these, but it tends to be a huge time sink. Sooo, maybe for the final book (already I find myself groaning at the potential cost to print so many pages in color. Wonder if I should just sell at a loss. way too early to consider such things. hmmmf).

Anywho… I want this story line to be more “wholesome.” So far that translates to being a little boring. maybe it is my subconscious commenting on the idea of “wholesome.” However, over time, food will play it’s part in this particular story. So I’ll leave it in. (once again, i’m kind of dropping the ball on creating motivation… kiiiind of).
