… Well, weeks after the initial 3 panel doodle was forgotten in some stack of random ideas (it was really just an exercise in “drawing shapes without lifting the pen off paper), I was trying to think up a new video project. What would be simple to go out and shoot? What sounded like a fun project?
Well, I’ve always wanted to shoot a sci fi short film with some brainy hard science. And it seems like putting on radiation suits and stumbling around unpopulated parts of the city is instant easy special effect. So Istarted thinking about all the things two dudes could get up to in a radioactive wasteland. Which ultimately led to this strip. I came up with some other stories as well, and when I thought of a way to tie them all together i thought I really had to tackle this project. I still like to think that this whole strip, which will become a collected graphic novel, could still be thought of as storyboards for a movie. If people respond to it. Fingers crossed.
