INsights: here is another strip sent to the future from… THE PAST.
Whipped this up on friday night. look at me typing about tonight as if it was already the past. blush.
well. i have a head cold. things are a little funky all over right now. bleh. just saying…
While preparing tonights… er… LAST FRIDAY’S strip, i opened the breast cancer strip and started deleting things. pretty much leaving what you see here. i thought it very funny. but it was too obvious a cop out (OR … WAS IT). so i focused on making it more of an abstract art statement. reworked the text in the first frame. added semi super meaningful words to the last two frames. one misspelled/mangled for extra mystery.
in a way, yes, this is actually meant to be a joke. In a way it’s a commentary on “what do you, the reader, see in it?”. I hope you see crepes. because crepes are loverly. or perhaps you see crap. which how I pronounce the word “crepe”. soo. i wanter there to be a double meaning there. but maybe there isn’t. and in my sick addled head cold mindspace: this adds up TO HIGH ARTS!
