INsights: ummm. this is a weird one. lightly.I just jotted down this sentence as something to work into something. I always like when people drop the “you put the x back in y” statements. and they work.
This works. in theory. I wasn’t sure if i meant re-sent or resentment. And I am obsessed with ambiguous word usage. sooo. SOLD! STRIP : DONE! (personally, i do lean towards resentment).
Art wise, i liked the idea that Disky was making faces. Enjoyed doodling out little weird tweaks of his lil baby face. in theory he’s reacting to the building sentence. but really, i dunno. I’m really not sure what’s going on in the second frame. i hear a cat hissing in my head. and in the first one, i’d shrunken his mouth down till it became a tooth. then duplicated it and deeply enjoyed the goofy two tooth. thing.
um. bleh. REPRESENT! that’s what this strip is all about. holmes. I really like the idea of abstract symbol people talking about representin’, like hardcore ganster clowns. But it probably suffers from being more of a thinker than a joker. erk?
