eek. Ran pretty late on this one. Was distracted by watching several episodes of Dexter (season 2) back to back with roommates.
Basically, this was just a quick thought I threw out after seeing the movie. It seemed clear that the John Hurt role was made for indiana senior, so he could be in the movie. Old man driven crazy by the artifact, off doing research when he gets kidnapped. Ironically befriends the grandson. His big character arc is that he finally snaps out of the craziness and recognizes indiana junior. he’s there grinning at the final scene (Where i found John Hurt to be : still quite creepy, despite being all cleaned up).
While I suppose it’s funny to note roger moore, i don’t know that the strip delivers this properly as a punchline. Was thinking it should punch in panel 3, and just let panel 4 be grinning acceptance of the idea. but. whatev. when popping in text, it seemed better to go as it goes above. hmm. Another quick brian dump. still very distracted by work on the vidHero comic book. apologies?
